TRACK 2:
How Deep Is Your Love JONATHA'S NOTE:Funky romp. This was an experiment with a bass riff that got beautifully out of hand. I was demoing it at my friend Ryan Freeland's house and we just kept throwing more ideas in until it got really crazy. Loops, cat hair remover, me playing bass, piano, Joe Sample came in on Wurlitzer. Everything but the kitchen sink. It's all about that new infatuation, love, romance, the daring of exposure. Trying every new thing.
LYRICS:
I don't think I ever really knew
I don't think I ever really saw I don't think I ever really felt I don't think I ever, ever How deep is your love? Room for two, fuel for thought My new dress, stocking's caught Kiss my mouth, taste my tears Let them fall with all my fears Talk to me, say my name Hold me down, say it again Rise for me like moon for sea Rise for me like poem to pen I don't think I ever really knew I don't think I ever really saw I don't think I ever really felt I don't think I ever, ever How deep is your love? Stay with me precious wild Stay with me, hold me awhile Love me like a little child Stay baby... Let them talk in this cheap town We will burn the old house down Cuz I love you crazy, love you blind Love you til the end of time Room for two..... kiss my mouth Room for two, fuel for thought My new dress stocking's caught I.... Room... Two.... Caught....Let them Talk I don't think I ever... Kiss... Kiss my mouth I don't think I.... Taste my tears I don't think I ever.... Let them talk.... Hold me down.... Say my name I don't think I..... How.... Deep... Think..... Talk...Tears.... How deep is your love? How deep is your love? |
